
Human Resources Generalist
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Serve as a key point of contact for HR-related questions and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and employment matters
- Support the full employee life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, retention, and separation
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, new hire orientations, stay interviews, and exit interviews
- Administer employee benefits programs and support open enrollment, leave coordination, and employee education
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and update HR systems, manuals, and internal trackers
- Support the performance review process, compensation adjustments, and compliance-related initiatives
- Assist with training and development programs and track employee participation
- Address employee relations concerns with professionalism, empathy, and discretion
- Prepare reports and contribute to data-driven HR planning and decision-making
- Represent the Company at job fairs, career events, and HR professional conferences
- Assist with company-wide engagement activities, events, and internal committees
- Collaborate on special projects to strengthen Mackin’s culture and operations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 2- 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with any HRIS systems a plus
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
