Position Purpose

As a member of the therapy team, the Physical or Occupational Therapist’s primary function is to provide a thorough therapy evaluation, diagnosis, a detailed plan of care including treatment methods and procedures; supervision and guidance of Assistants and consultation with referral sources and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or eligible for licensure by the State of Illinois under the Illinois Physical or Occupational Therapy Practice Act.
  • Member or eligible for membership in the APTA or AOTA preferred.
  • General knowledge and therapy skill to perform the evaluation and treatment of a wide variety of conditions; and ages from neonates, pediatrics, young adults, and adults to geriatrics.
  • Current certification in CPR and other service line-specific competencies.
