Open position for Lead Infant classroom Teacher. The position is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00pm. Applicant must have a minimum of a CDA/TCC/TCD credential. Must pass a national fingerprint background check. Must have the physical strength to lift an infant/toddler onto a changing table and the physical stamina to interact with infants in your care. Teacher must be physically able to sit in the floor with children and bend to remove toys from the floor. Position requires teacher to complete weekly lesson plans using the center's curriculum and use the Georgia Early Learning Development Standards (GELDS). Maintain and update children's portfolios with information with regards to development. Staff are required to complete a minimum of 10 professional development training hours annually, obtain/maintain certification in First Aid and CPR. Position requires familiarity and compliance with Georgia Child Care Regulations and center's policies and procedures. Must have excellent communication skills.

The age group working with is Infants, 6weeks - 18months (non-walking). The ratio followed by the center is 1:4 with a maximum group size of 8, which is lower than the state's ratio of 1:6.
