Business Development Leader
SpanIdea is a global engineering services and solutions company, specializing in AI, embedded systems, and IT. We are looking for a Business Development Leader based in Santa Clara to drive our Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for North America sales. This role requires a highly motivated and independent professional with strong technical expertise and proven experience in business development and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a BD team to drive lead generation and business development for North America.
Personally reach out to customers, generate leads, and close deals.
Own end-to-end sales execution, from prospecting to deal closure.
Engage in techno-sales discussions, leveraging a strong technical background to position SpanIdea’s services effectively.
Build and nurture long-term client relationships with key stakeholders in AI, Embedded, and IT engineering domains.
Develop and execute GTM strategies, including partnerships, alliances, and direct customer engagements.
Achieve revenue targets and drive sales growth in the North American market.
Work independently and take ownership of business development efforts with minimal supervision.
Collaborate with internal teams (technical, delivery, and marketing) to ensure alignment with customer needs.
Key Qualifications:
1-15 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably in engineering services companies.
Strong technical background (AI, Embedded, IT, or related domains) to effectively handle techno-sales discussions.
Proven track record of winning new business and achieving revenue targets.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
Independent, self-motivated, and highly disciplined.
Go-getter attitude with a strong ability to drive results.
Willingness to work in alignment with PST hours to effectively engage with North American clients.
