Full job description
The position is responsible for weekly maintenance, groundskeeping, and landscaping. Backgrounds in irrigation service, lawn care, outdoor systems, heavy equipment, power washing, or construction are encouraged.
Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Safely operates equipment such as trucks, blowers, utility carts, push mowers, string trimmers, etc.
- Lifts objects above shoulder height up to 50 pounds.
- Performs facility maintenance such as cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, scraping, painting, and sanding.
- Performs grounds maintenance such as trash and litter pickup. Replace trash and recycling can liners. Planting/flower bed maintenance, weeding etc.
Follow safety protocols and ensure high-quality workmanship
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Typical Qualifications
- Ability to operate powered string trimmers, leaf blower, utility carts, and pickup trucks.
- Ability to withstand a variety of temperature and weather extremes.
- Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
- Be able to deal with the public in a courteous and tactful manner.
- Ability to work irregular schedules based on project demand and weather.
- Must provide own steel-toed shoes.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be at least eighteen years of age.
Supplemental Information
EMPLOYMENT PERIOD: mid-May - September
WORK SCHEDULE:
Hours per day: Flexible hours between 8:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Friday
Hours per week: 30-40
Pay: $17/hour
