Club Rec Counselor

Seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to work hands on with individuals with disabilities in an enrichment based recreational setting. The Club Rec program, is a fun, all day recreation program for ages 3-21 with disabilities. We mainly work with those with developmental disabilities like autism, down syndrome, and various levels of intellectual disabilities. Throughout the summer we do activities at the location; cooking, art, swim, gym, science, music, etc. and also take field trips out into the community (the zoo, bowling, etc.).

I'm looking for people to instruct activities, such as art, music, cooking, science, gym, etc., and also for group leaders, who are not responsible for planning activities, but are there to help with whatever needs the participants have, from encouragement, socializing, hand-over-hand assistance, and personal care including feeding and diapering. All programming takes place at various locations throughout the city of Milwaukee.
