Early Childhood Division Leader

Spend your summer making an impact while gaining experience managing a team.

Deer Mountain Day Camp is looking for Early Childhood teachers, school psychologists, coaches, or candidates graduating with teaching or social science degrees to join our Division Leader team. Division Leaders manage groups and camp experience for the campers in their division, manage and support the counselors who work in their division, and communicate and partner with the parents of our campers throughout the summer. If helping our campers and counselors grow over the course of the summer sounds like something you would enjoy, we would love to hear from you!

Summer Dates:

June 29th - August 20th, 2026 (off on July 3rd-8 weeks)

8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday

Available for pre-season trainings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Physical Education, or Recreation and Leisure Studies.
• Previous camp experience preferred.
• Ability to work and build relationships with a wide range of personality types.
• A self-motivated, ambitious, and goal-oriented person who is excited to learn and grow in a leadership role.
• A passion for camp and Deer Mountain’s philosophy and mission.
