UX/UI & Web Experience Intern

Ampa Events is looking for a creative and detail-oriented intern to help support the redesign and optimization of our company website this summer.
This is an opportunity to work on a real-world digital experience project for a 30-year event design and production company specializing in experiential environments, custom fabrication, and large-scale events.
We’re looking for candidates who are excited about the intersection of design, user experience, branding, and web functionality.
What You’ll Work On
- Assisting with UX/UI design for a website redesign
- Building wireframes, layouts, and prototypes in Figma
- Helping improve site organization, navigation, and user flow
- Supporting SEO optimization and content structure
- Assisting with ecommerce and product/service page planning
- Researching best practices in web experience and conversion optimization
- Collaborating with our creative and leadership team on digital strategy
- Helping ensure visual consistency across desktop and mobile experiences
Essential Skills
- Experience with UX/UI design principles
- Proficiency in Figma
- Familiarity with responsive web design
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and website optimization
- Strong visual communication and organizational skills
- Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
- Front-end development experience (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
- Experience with Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, or Squarespace is a plus
- Experience with ecommerce platforms or CMS systems
- Familiarity with website hosting environments
