AI Systems & Automation Intern

We’re building a modern creative manufacturing company that combines design, technology, production, branding, and operational systems into one fast-moving operation.
We’re looking for an AI Systems & Automation Intern who is excited about using AI, automation, and technology to help improve and scale real operational workflows across the company.
This role is ideal for Computer Science students, recent graduates, or technically curious builders who enjoy solving problems, connecting systems, experimenting with new tools, and building automations that improve efficiency.
You’ll work directly with leadership and multiple departments to help automate workflows across:
- Shopify operations
- customer communication
- CRM and support systems
- production coordination
- post-purchase workflows
- review and content collection
- operational reporting
- internal processes
This is not a traditional IT or corporate internship. We’re looking for someone who is curious, adaptable, resourceful, and excited to help build the operational infrastructure of a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Identify repetitive workflows and help automate operational processes
- Build and improve systems using AI tools, automation platforms, and integrations
- Support Shopify, CRM, customer support, and operational workflows
- Help improve customer journey automation and operational efficiency
- Research and test new AI and automation tools
- Work cross-functionally with creative, production, and operations teams
Requirements
- Strong interest in AI, automation, systems, and workflow optimization
- Technical curiosity and willingness to learn quickly
- Familiarity with tools such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Zapier, Make, APIs, or similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills in English
- On-site availability in Santa Ana, CA
Bonus Points
- Computer Science or related technical background
- Experience with APIs, automations, scripting, or AI tools
- Experience with e-commerce or operational systems
- Experience building workflows using Zapier, Make, or no-code tools
