Athletic Coach

📍 Camp Weequahic, Northeast Pennsylvania

📅 June 13 – August 11, 2026 (5, 7, or 8 week options)

The Athletic Coach role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for sport with meaningful mentorship. As a coach, you'll help young athletes develop their skills, confidence, teamwork, and love for the game while gaining valuable leadership and coaching experience in a dynamic camp environment.

You'll play a key role in creating a positive, supportive, and engaging sports programme that helps campers thrive both on and off the field.

What You'll Do

Coach and instruct campers aged 7–16 in your chosen sport or athletic discipline
Plan and lead engaging training sessions, drills, practices, and competitions
Teach fundamental skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and game strategy
Encourage athlete development while creating a fun and inclusive learning environment
Motivate campers to build confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset
Support inter-camp tournaments, special sporting events, and competitions
Serve as a positive role model and mentor for young athletes
Collaborate with fellow staff to deliver an exceptional camp experience
