Position Overview

As a Project Consultant / Estimator, you'll help homeowners plan their residential painting projects from the initial conversation through the estimating process.

You'll meet with homeowners, evaluate their painting needs, prepare professional estimates, and answer questions about our services. You'll also introduce Smooth Painting to homeowners in neighborhoods where we're actively completing projects, helping generate new opportunities for our team.

This role combines customer service, project estimating, relationship building, and business development in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

Meet with homeowners to discuss their painting projects and goals.

Perform on-site evaluations of residential painting projects.

Measure projects and prepare professional estimates using our estimating software.

Educate homeowners on our painting process and services.

Canvass neighborhoods surrounding active job sites to introduce homeowners to Smooth Painting.

Generate qualified leads and schedule painting consultations.

Maintain organized customer records using our CRM.

Work closely with our office and production team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

No prior painting or estimating experience is required. We'll teach you everything you need to succeed.

Training & Compensation

You'll begin with paid training, where you'll learn:

Once training is successfully completed, you'll transition into a commission-based compensation structure with uncapped earning potential, giving you the opportunity to directly control your income based on your performance.
