About the Role

We're looking for a Solutions Engineer to own one of the most important parts of our business: helping new customers successfully launch on GoAccess.

In this role, you'll build customer data imports, integrate with third-party systems, write production code, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop internal tools that make onboarding faster and more reliable.

This is a hands-on engineering position. You'll spend your time writing JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, and backend code while working closely with Customer Success and Product Engineering to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

What You'll Do

  • Design and build customer data import pipelines.
  • Develop integrations with third-party APIs and software platforms.
  • Write clean, maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code.
  • Query, analyze, and manipulate PostgreSQL databases.
  • Build internal tools that automate onboarding and reduce manual work.
  • Troubleshoot customer implementation and data issues.
  • Investigate production issues and determine root causes.
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering to improve the onboarding platform.
  • Continuously improve the scalability and reliability of our implementation process.

 

What We're Looking For

Required

  • Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
  • Experience consuming REST APIs.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently in a startup environment.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
