Join a Growing International Food Manufacturer

Are you passionate about food safety, quality, and continuous improvement? We are partnering with a growing international food manufacturer seeking a Food Quality Specialist to join its Quality Assurance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in the food and/or beverage manufacturing industry who enjoys solving quality challenges, improving processes, and ensuring products meet the highest quality and food safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Support daily Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities.
• Investigate product quality issues and customer complaints.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate supplier documentation and maintain product specifications.
• Prepare for and participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Maintain third-party certifications, including Organic, Non-GMO, Kosher, and Gluten-Free.
• Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures, records, and documentation.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, product sampling, and quality evaluations.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Operations, and other internal departments.
• Communicate with the Quality team in Japan regarding quality-related matters.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality systems and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience within the food and/or beverage manufacturing industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality systems, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid California Driver's License.
• Japanese language ability is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits
