Junior Interior Designer

KTG Design is a residential interior design studio based in Truckee, CA. We design and fully furnish new-build homes for clients in the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe region, working from concept through installation. We're hiring a Junior Interior Designer to join our small team and get real project experience fast. You'll be in client meetings, building presentations, sourcing furnishings, and learning the business side of design from day one.

 WHAT YOU'LL DO 

- Support lead designers on residential new-build projects, concept through installation 

- Source furniture, finishes, and materials for full-home furnishing packages - Build Design Books, space plans, and client presentations 

- Sit in on client meetings and site visits

 - Help manage vendor orders, timelines, and install logistics 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

- A degree or certificate in interior design (recent grads welcome) 

- A portfolio showing real project or coursework, not just inspiration boards - Strong communication skills, you'll be client-facing and in communication with trades early 

- Organized and detail-driven, comfortable juggling a few projects at once - Based in or willing to relocate to the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe area 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS - $32-35/hour to start, depending on experience
