Adaptive Sports Manager
The Adaptive Sports Manager is a key member of the programs team and is responsible for growing Challenge Aspen’s adaptive cycling program into a sustainable, scalable three-season offering. This full-time, one-year, grant-funded position leads adaptive bike programming and expansion efforts in the spring, summer, and fall through partnerships, participant recruitment, program development, and high-quality facilitation.
This year-round role also supports Challenge Aspen’s adaptive ski programming during the winter season, including on-snow activities, participant support, staff and volunteer coordination, and adaptive equipment management. The Adaptive Sports Manager is responsible for creating and enforcing adaptive equipment use guidelines, managing equipment storage and maintenance, supporting safe and inclusive program delivery, and building community relationships that strengthen Challenge Aspen’s ski and bike programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, mission-driven professional who is passionate about adaptive recreation, biking, skiing, and building meaningful outdoor experiences for people with disabilities.
