Responsibilities: 

As a high-growth, boutique consulting firm, Pathstone offers a unique opportunity for associates to play a significant role in supporting client engagements and practice development initiatives. Below is a list of representative responsibilities for each area: 

Client Engagements: 

  • Support execution of key engagement workstreams and initiatives with minimal supervision 
  • Lead analysis of complex data sets to generate insights and identify opportunities 
  • Support development of persuasive business cases and presentations to clients 
  • Support identification of strategies and recommendations to improve client’s performance 
  • Support project management efforts for client engagements 
  • Build strong partnerships with client stakeholders to ensure successful completion of workstreams 
  • Engage with client stakeholders ranging from front-line staff to health system executives 

Firm Development: 

  • Support market research of current and prospective clients 
  • Support branding and marketing efforts to increase firm brand equity 
  • Support development of intellectual property & knowledge repository 
  • Support initiatives to improve internal process, client delivery and methodology 
  • Support recruitment, hiring and onboarding initiatives 
  • Organize and/or participate in team building activities and events 
  • Create and develop your own initiatives to improve Pathstone culture! 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects 
  • Strong work ethic 
  • Self-motivator with an entrepreneurial mindset 
  • Strong team player and collaboration skills 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Alignment with firm mission and values 
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Prior work / internship experience (healthcare and / or supply chain background is a plus) 
  • Willing and able to travel 15-80% Travel (variable, based on client need) 
  • Reside in or be willing to relocate to Chicago, IL

Eligibility Criteria

Graduation Date: Graduating in or before June 2027 

School Year: Senior 

Minimum GPA: 3.3 

Work Authorization: U.S. work authorization is required, and the employer will not be sponsoring candidates 

Preferred Majors: Business, Economics, Supply Chain, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
