Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher, Special Education ($5,000 Annual Stipend)
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Special Education Program Administrator, will provide quality education to deaf and hard of hearing students, preschool through high school age, through a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs; communication and social skill development; interagency cooperation, and a strong parent-teacher-student linkage. Opportunities exist to develop and experiment with adaptive technology, vocational education, and integration with non-handicapped populations.
Length of Work Year
183 Workdays, Full Time, Monday - Friday
Requirements / Qualifications
- Successful candidate must possess a valid California credential or have the ability to secure a California credential.
- Interns are accepted.
- This position is represented by the California Teachers Association.
