Overview

Wed Society® | Northern Virginia is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager to lead digital marketing, social media, and community engagement for our wedding vendor network.This multifaceted role demands strong communication, strategic planning, creativity in content creation, and a passion for fostering community ties. Responsibilities span marketing, member management, social media and website oversight, print coordination and event organization.

You'll report to the owner and work independently day-to-day, with regular check-ins on strategy and priorities.

This is a remote role with in-person events and meetings in Northern Virginia (only applicants located in this area will be considered).

Responsibilities

  • Marketing – Plan and execute marketing campaigns. Track performance and report on key metrics.
  • Member Management – Own onboarding and renewals, run regular check-ins, and manage wedding submissions and promotions.
  • Social Media – Craft and schedule engaging content across platforms like Instagram and TikTok. Monitor engagement metrics and facilitate community interaction.
  • Website Management – Develop member profiles, update blogs, and send bi-weekly newsletters.
  • Event Planning – Support execution of quarterly networking events.

Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing, community management, social media, or a related role.
  • Excellent communication skills; strong multitasking ability.
  • Independent and collaborative work capabilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Instagram, TikTok, and social content creation.
  • Understanding of digital marketing, data and analytics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Asana, or similar tools is a plus.
