Retail Sales Field Service Associate
Job description:
SUMMARY:
Service and monitor all aspects of Get Fresh Sales services and products throughout all convenience stores to meet the highest standards, expectations and branding objectives. Report daily in writing finds in each store, summary of weekly finds in department channel meetings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with operations to ensure product fill accuracy and rate
- Travel between assigned store locations throughout the day to complete merchandising responsibilities. This is a driving-required position and is not a sales role.
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with store managers and district managers.
- Analyze product movement & make suggestions to increase sales
- Oversee inventory and condition of all merchandising tools, equipment and materials (signs, fixtures, display items, etc.) in stores
- Maintain pricing accuracy by reporting inaccuracies to Supervisor
- Ensure product integrity, including, but not limited to making sure product is within expiration date and quality standards
- Check stores back room for inventory and stock shelves if space is available
- Provide daily store reports of locations visited
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years of prior retail experience required
- Convenience store experience preferred
- Understanding of retail merchandising fundamentals preferred
SKILLS:
- Excellent organizational & time management skills
- Working knowledge of Outlook
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexible hours, many times outside store open hours including prior to opening, after closing, holidays and weekends as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to sit or stand and walk throughout the scheduled work shift
- Able to climb ladders
- Able to lift and/or move up to 50-75 lbs
- Ability to push, lift and manipulate heavy fixtures, boxes, and equipment
- Travel required; reliable car a necessity
- Must pass a drug test
