KP LAUNCH (Kaiser Permanente)
2027 Summer High School & College Internship Programs
KP LAUNCH is a paid internship program that empowers high school and college students to explore and pursue careers in health care. Through
meaningful learning experiences and career development opportunities, the program helps Kaiser Permanente cultivate future health care professionals and leaders and strengthens the workforce needed to serve Northern California communities.
***YOU MUST RESIDE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM***
WHY KP LAUNCH
- Paid summer internships for high school and college students ages 16–24
- Gain full-time work experience working up to 40 hours per week, M-F
- Hands-on experience in different healthcare departments
- Take part in curated professional development days
- Meet healthcare professionals, explore healthcare careers, and build
mentoring connections.
2027 SUMMER INTERNSHIP DATES AND REQUIREMENTS
High School Program Requirements
- Current student or recent high school graduate
- Between ages of 16 and 19 by June 1, 2027
- Enrolled in high school; general education degree (GED) program or within one year of graduation
High School Program Dates
- High School: June 14th - July 30th, 2027
- Seven-week summer internship
College Program Requirement
- Enrolled in a community college, four-year university, or trade/vocational school.
- Between ages of 18 and 24 by June 1, 2027
- Have a high school diploma or GED
College Program Dates:
- College: June 7th - July 30th, 2027
- Eight-week summer internship
- Eight-week summer internship
