About the Role We're looking for a science teacher for middle or high school students. This is a full-time, permanent teaching position focused on delivering engaging science instruction and supporting student growth.
What You'll Do - Plan and deliver science lessons aligned to state standards for middle or high school grade levels - Manage a classroom environment that's structured, safe, and conducive to learning - Assess student understanding through labs, tests, projects, and ongoing formative assessments - Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners - Collaborate with fellow teachers, department heads, and administrators on curriculum and school goals - Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians about academic progress - Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events - Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student progress

About You - Bachelor's degree in Education, Science, or a related field required - State teaching certification (or eligibility) in science for middle or high school -Don't have a degree in Education or Teaching? Strong content knowledge in one or more science disciplines — biology, chemistry, physics, or earth science - Genuine interest in working with adolescents and helping them succeed - Clear communicator, both in writing and in person
Nice to Have - Prior student teaching or classroom experience at the middle or high school level - Experience with inquiry-based or project-based learning approaches - Familiarity with education technology tools
