POSITION:  Mental Health Services Specialist (Full Time – 12 Month)          

LOCATION:  NEIU Geographic Area

QUALIFICATIONS:  Candidate must possess Master’s Level Degree in a recognized Mental Health Clinical discipline or successful completion of a Clinical Graduate Degree Program in Clinical Psychology or Local Work (LSW or LPC required) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist. Three years post-graduate clinical experience working with children and youth in a school-based mental health setting is required. Candidate is responsible to provide direct, intense treatment that will focus on helping students learn to respond to their daily environment in a practical and productive manner.  The candidate will place an emphasis on the student’s current needs, functions, and support systems as they relate to mental health treatment and educational needs. (full job description available upon request)
