Job Description

Seeking a highly motivated individual to intern in KIOXIA America’s Product Support Engineering team to assist with technical product support on the data center product line. The candidate should possess a basic understanding of X86 computer architecture and related drivers, BIOS, software, PCIe, etc. Data center and computer storage experience (NVMe, SATA, RAID, etc.) is desired but not a requirement. Must have strong communication skills in both written and spoken environments. Must have the ability to work across multiple functional teams within the product development and customer support organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Product Support Engineer (PSE) with first level triage of customer reported issues.
  • Create, track and manage customer issues within the issue tracking system and related forums.
  • Communicate status of issue(s) to the PSE and collaborate on next steps.
  • Assist with technical content development for customer and product documentation.
  • Develop test cases to reproduce issues or ensure SSD meets reliability requirements.
  • Execute firmware release test plan.

Qualifications

  • Junior or Senior enrolled in an EE, CE, CS or equivalent technology related BS/MS program
