Product Manager Intern

SailPoint is the leading provider of identity security and governance solutions. We are looking for a Product Manager intern with purpose, drive, and focus to join our Identity Security Cloud team for the summer to assist our team in building new capabilities.

 

The position requires product management skills that utilize market research, customer feedback and strong communication and presentation abilities to deliver a clear set of recommendations by the end of the internship. This product manager will work with internal and external stakeholders, including peer product managers from other lines of business, to help shape the vision and execute on delivering value that will be leveraged across the portfolio of SailPoint products.

Important details: 

  • Your internship will begin June 2nd, 2025, and run until August 8th, 2025. 
  • The first week of your internship will be held in-person at our Headquarters in Austin, TX 
  • Travel and lodging will be provided 
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. No Visa sponsor available. 

 

What will I be doing? 

  • Participating in all areas of the product lifecycle from ideation, user research, gathering requirements, to launch readiness 
  • Drive product innovation and opportunities through feedback from our customers, internal stakeholders, and partners, as well as market data 
  • Engage with stakeholders to scope work, understand the impact, and gain consensus 
  • Partner with engineering to develop, prioritize and manage the product backlog in a lean/agile environment 
  • Help define success metrics and measure the impact and results of new solutions 

 

What will I need? 

  • Positive mental attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills 
  • Organized and timely to deliver on milestones

 

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in product management
  • Prior experience in identity and access management 
  • Experience performing quantitative and qualitative research.

 

Education 

  • College students from rising Juniors to Seniors, along with Master’s level students
