Full Stack Engineer – Full-Time (On-Site, Las Vegas, NV)

About Sapience

Sapience is a Las Vegas-based education and technology company committed to transforming youth learning through modern platforms and operational excellence. As we expand, we’re building a hands-on engineering team in Las Vegas to drive the development of our internal systems, student portals, and external digital products.

 

Role Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of our software applications. You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build responsive, scalable, and user-friendly tools that support both business operations and customer-facing solutions. This is an on-site role, located at our Las Vegas headquarters.

 

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

  • Develop clean and responsive user interfaces using React.js, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.
  • Ensure mobile compatibility and a smooth user experience across browsers and devices.
  • Integrate design assets from tools like Figma or Adobe XD into functioning UIs.

Back-End Development

  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services using Node.js, Python, or comparable technologies.
  • Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and implement scalable data models.
  • Ensure secure and efficient authentication, authorization, and session management.

Full Stack Collaboration

  • Work with designers, product managers, and leadership to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and maintain high standards for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Help deploy, test, and maintain systems with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git).

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
  • Proficient with JavaScript frameworks (React.js, Vue.js, or Angular) and back-end tools (Node.js, Express, Python, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment.
  • Located in Las Vegas or willing to relocate – this role is fully on-site.

 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000 USD annually, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, professional development support, performance-based bonuses, and employee stock options.
  • Location: On-site at our Las Vegas Headquarters (8965 South Eastern Blvd, Suite 190, Las Vegas, NV 89123)
