Interested in working at the center of California’s water rights system? Want to develop and apply water rights expertise to water diversion project operations and their impact on California’s water system and the environment? The Division of Water Rights is looking for a senior engineer to work as a non-supervisory specialist on the complex challenges the 21st century poses for allocation of the state’s limited water resources.

The position is located at 1001 I Street, 14th Floor, Sacramento, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

Salary information – CalHR salary rules allow appointment at the entrance rate (Cal. Code Regs., tit. 2, § 599.673) of a classification. For classes with alternate ranges, placement is based on education/experience.
