Repair Technician

JOB PURPOSE:

Repair Telecommunications equipment to the component level by completing diagnostic tests, and repairs or replacements; maintaining repair records.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:
  • Repairs to the component level various telecommunications PCB.
  • Attain and maintain minimum production rate as determined by ICBS Management.
  • Completes repairs by adjusting, calibrating, aligning, modifying, repairing, or replacing parts, components, or circuitry.
  • Verifies system performance by completing operational tests.
  • Documents repair information per Repair Process requirements.
  • Maintains safe work environment by following codes and standards.
  • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Follows all applicable documented processes and procedures.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATION:
  • Associate or Certificate in an Electronics program and minimum 2 years component level repair experience on Telecommunications equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in use of computers.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
