Temporary Research Technician: Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine

We are seeking a Temporary Research Technician to support ongoing research projects in
genetics within the Department of Biomedical Sciences. The successful candidate will conduct experiments and analyze data to meet project objectives. This position is full-time (39 hours per week) for 8 weeks from June to August, and the pay rate is $18.45 per hour.
 

Responsibilities:
 Work under the supervision of a graduate student
 Perform functional experiments exploring meiotic progression in mouse mutants
 Perform microscopic imaging and image analysis
 Analyze and present data
 Maintain accurate protocols, records of lab activity (including data analysis) and
experimental results

 Strong ability to work effectively within a diverse environment at Cornell.
