Design and Production Intern - Abbey Glass, LLC

Position Overview: Join Abbey Glass, a high-growth fashion brand based in Atlanta, as a Design and Production Intern. In this role, you'll assist our creative team by learning the building blocks of what it takes to execute a successful collection. You will gain hands-on experience in fashion production, finance, and help us prepare for success on all sales channels.

This is a 3-month paid  internship in person in Atlanta, Ga.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with design research, mood boards, and concept development
• Help with spreadsheets for sample tracking and shipping
• Maintain detailed spreadsheets for shipments from factories and communicate with greater team about incoming products and tracking numbers
• Maintain Quickbooks online finance tracking system for all payments made to factory or refunds given
• Support the design team with quality control and inventory management
• Attend fittings as needed and take photos and notes for comment to sample makers
• Organize and maintain the design studio and material library
• Assist with preparation for market appointments and fashion shows

Qualifications:

• Degree in Fashion Design or Merchandising or related field
• Basic knowledge of garment construction and textile materials
• Proficiency in Canva Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Portfolio project demonstrating fashion design or merchandising project
